The Retract A Gate retractable pet gate is certified by the Juvenile Products Manufacturers Association (JPMA), an independent testing laboratory, with a rating of ASTM F-1004. In laymen's terms, that means the Retract A Gate retractable pet gate is suitable for children from 6 months to 24 months of age.

NOTE: Retract A Gate retractable pet gate is not to be used with children that are able to climb over or dislodge/open gate or childproof lock.

The main benefit of the Retract A Gate retractable pet gate is that it is easy to use from start to finish. It only takes a few minutes to install, and it makes life a lot easier if you need to pass through the gate frequently. It offers easy, one-hand operation. And it fully retracts out of the way when not in use. Also, if installed in a doorway, most doors will still be able to close.

It's ideal for doorways but also great for outdoor use such as on decks, patios, porches, boats or RVs. This product also makes a lot of sense for grooming facilities, vet offices or even dog day care centers.

There are two models. If you are looking for an extra wide retractable pet gate check out the 72 inch model (34 inches tall). Or, if you don't need an extra wide retractable pet gate we also carry a model that is 52 inches wide (also 34 inches tall).

The mesh material is tough (scratch and claw resistant), but see-through, mildew-resistant and can be cleaned with a wet cloth or sponge.

You'd have to use your own judgment if you are thinking of a Retract A Gate retractable pet gate for cats. Most healthy cats can jump over a 34 inch tall retractable pet gate, but some can't and only you would know whether or not yours can.

Brackets and hardware are included with PetFrenzy's retractable pet gate. For added convenience, you can buy an extra set of brackets and hardware if you want to be able to quickly and easily move your Retractable Pet Gate from one place to another.
