The PetSafe® Electronic SmartDoor™ pet door allows you to control the coming and going of your pets using radio-frequency technology. When the SmartDoor™ is set to automatic mode; only your pet wearing the SmartKey™ can pass through the SmartDoor in either direction. The SmartDoor detects the SmartKey's unique signal and triggers a battery power-driven flap to unlock automatically. After your pet passes through the SmartDoor™, the electronic dog door will relock automatically. Without the SmartKey™, no other animals can pass through.

SmartDoor™ SmartKey™
- Energy efficient, weather resistant seal and insulated flap
- Sensing range adjustable up to 3 feet. Circuit board radio receiver keeps the active area (region in which the SmartKey is successfully recognized by the SmartDoor) from varying - even under damp high humidity conditions. The distance from the SmartDoor at which the flap is unlocked is consistent from day to day.
- Strong magnets for flap centering prevents wind and drafts from causing the SmartDoor flap to potentially jam as it locks.
- Sensitivity adjustment knob allows you to tell in relative terms where you have the sensitivity set (minimum, maximum, etc).
- Sensitivity Test Mode allows you to very easily adjust the SmartDoor sensitivity. As you move the SmartKey in and out of the active area, you can tell immediately where the SmartKey will be recognized and where it will not.
- Can be installed in door or walls (with the purchase of the pet SmartDoor Wall Kit sold separately)

PLEASE NOTE: It is advised that you program and test your Electronic SmartDoor prior to installation. It must be in the vertical position for the flap to center and operate properly. This pet door will not operate properly if installed in a metal door.
