Control the access of your pets with the SmartDoor Pet Door

The PetSafe Electronic SmartDoor pet door allows you to control exit and entry of your pets using radio-frequency technology. When the Pet Safe SmartDoor is set to automatic dog door mode, only your pet wearing the SmartKey can pass through the Smart Door. The SmartDoor detects the SmartKey and unlocks automatically. After your pet passes through the SmartDoor, the electronic dog door will relock automatically. Without the SmartKey, no other animals can pass through.

• Energy efficient, weather resistant seal and insulated flap
• Sensing range adjustable up to 3 feet. Circuit board radio receiver keeps the active area (region in which the SmartKey is successfully recognized by the SmartDoor) from varying - even under damp high humidity conditions. The distance from the SmartDoor at which the flap is unlocked is consistent from day to day.
• Sensitivity adjustment knob allows you to tell in relative terms where you have the sensitivity set (minimum, maximum, etc).
• Sensitivity Test Mode allows you to very easily adjust the SmartDoor sensitivity. As you move the SmartKey in and out of the active area, you can tell immediately where the SmartKey will be recognized and where it will not.
• Full wavelength antenna minimizes hot spots and nulls in the sensitivity pattern around the SmartDoor Automatic Pet Door
• Electronic dog doors for walls - can also be installed in a wall (with the purchase of the pet SmartDoor Wall Kit sold separately)
• Strong push rod springs in the large electronic Smart Door locking cam assemblies eliminates the issue with some large Smart Door Dog Door flaps clacking against the SmartDoor Automatic dog door frame as they swing closed.

PLEASE NOTE: It is advised that you program and test your Electronic SmartDoor prior to installation. It must be in the vertical position for the flap to center and operate properly. This pet door will not operate properly if installed in a metal door.
