The PetSafe Instant Fence is perfect for people who do not want a conventional fence on their property and/or people who want a portable fence so they can contain their pets while camping, visiting friends or relatives, etc.
In addition, because the PetSafe Instant Fence does not require wiring it is also the product of choice for people who don't want to bury wires on their property. The system sets up in minutes. Just plug the transmitter into an outlet and put the collar on your dog. That’s all there is to it.
The PetSafe Instant Fence system will provide a containment area up to 1/2 acre. But if you need a larger area you can add another transmitter to double the size of the containment area. You can contain as many dogs as you like with just one transmitter, but you would have to purchase receiver collars for each dog.
While the PetSafe Instant Fence is designed to contain your dog in an outdoor area, please keep in mind that the transmitter must be indoors or well-protected from the elements including moisture.
