Eco Friendly Dog Beds

We have a big selection of Eco Friendly Dog Beds - everything from small dog beds to extra large dog beds and everything in between. Eco friendly dog beds in the PetFrenzy line up all contain filling made from recycled plastic bottles. That's why some people call them plastic dog beds, although we don't think that's a comfortable sounding name. And these beds are super, super comfortable!

Various brand names and descriptions are used to describe this filling: IntelliLoft™, "Eco-Tech" polar fleece and recycled poly batting. Whichever name is used, all of our eco friendly dog beds are helping to keep plastic bottles out of our over-burdened landfills.

In 2007 alone, 22 billion plastic bottles went into our landfills. Most of the eco friendly dog beds on our site provide information on exactly how many plastic bottles were used to make the filling for each size bed. The bigger the bed, the more bottles were kept out of the landfill.

It turns out that filling made from recycled plastic bottles is not just earth friendly, but is actually superior to other materials commonly used as filling for dog beds. The recycled filling in our eco friendly dog beds will not bunch up or flatten out like other types of filling will. Also, if you're searching for extra durable dog beds, one of our eco friendly dog beds will likely fill the bill.

In addition to bed filling, recycled plastic bottles have long been used to make super soft fabric, such as polar fleece. While all of the beds in our eco friendly dog beds section use material from recycled bottles on the inside, some have luxuriously-soft eco friendly fabric on the exterior as well.

Keeping any of our eco friendly dog beds clean is a snap. Many of them can be tossed in the washer and dryer - the entire bed. Others have removable covers that can be machine washed and dried. For your convenience, you'll find washing instructions in all product descriptions for PetFrenzy eco friendly dog beds.

We also offer eco friendly dog beds that use organic materials. (At this time we do not carry a 100% organic dog bed. We are looking to add some to our line up but haven't found any yet that meet our durability standards.)

Our Designer Oval Hemp Pet Bed uses an eco friendly filling from recycled plastic bottles, and an attractive natural hemp fabric on the exterior. Hemp is a highly sustainable crop, is grown without using chemicals or pesticides and can thrive in near-drought conditions so it doesn't drain water resources.

The Designer Oval Hemp Pet Bed is overstuffed and so comfortable it can hold its own up against any of the luxury dog beds out there. And so can our organic bumber pet beds that feature eco friendly filling and an organic cotton exterior.

PetFrenzy eco friendly dog beds are recommended for indoor use only. If you are looking for Outdoor Dog Beds we have many quality beds from which to choose, and most of them are water-resistant although some are 100% waterproof dog beds.

Many of our Raised Dog Beds are also great for outdoors, especially the ones made with heavy-duty fabric stretched over practically indestructible PVC plastic frames. These PVC dog beds will not rust and the fabrics will dry out completely. Another advantage to PVC dog beds is that if your dog is an aggressive chewer, he or she just may meet their match with commercial-grade PVC plastic.
