The original steel framed rectangular raised dog bed has been the bed of choice for many since it was first introduced in 1995. It provides firm, even support dogs love. The fabric panel wraps around the steel tubes and light gray colored PVC chew guards slip over the fabric and protect it from chewing.

  • Cordura Fabric often used in backpacks, shoes, and products exposed to extensive wear, has the feel and texture of traditional canvas but with greater durability. Waterproof coating so it will puddle if rained on.
  • Vinyl Weave often found in upscale patio furniture, is a tightly woven fabric which breathes and allows water to seep through. Attractive, easy to clean and frequently used when a bed will be outside in the weather or in hot climates where free air circulation helps cool the dog. Vinyl weave fabric is not recommended for dogs who dig as it is the most susceptible to damage from their nails. The only fabric not included in our 1-year warranty.
  • 40 oz. Vinyl (additional charge) is our most durable fabric. Heavy-duty material has shown to hold up better than any fabric we have tested in animal shelters and boarding kennels. It is a smooth, non-porous, easy to clean fabric similar to what is used on truck tarps and gym mats.
  • Ballistic Nylon (additional charge) is very similar to Cordura in appearance and durability; however, it has a smoother finish and is easier to clean. It has a rich appearance and is the same fabric frequently used in making luggage. Many kennel owners and breeders who prefer a canvas type material choose Ballistic nylon. Waterproof coating so it will puddle if rained on.
