The PetSafe PRF-275-19 Stubborn Dog Super Receiver Collar is for the occasional
hard-to-train or stubborn dog. This Receiver Collar contains electronics to
detect the magnetic field carried by the containment boundary wire, translates
them, and delivers a static correction. The static correction is delivered
through two contact probes that touch the dog's neck.
For use with the PetSafe Stubborn Dog In-Ground Radio Fences (PIG00-10777, MIG00-10939, and HIG11-11052).
Less than 1% of dogs need the Stubborn Dog receiver. It is three times more powerful than our regular receivers and is designed with these dogs in mind. Because of its size, this receiver should be used for dogs that are over 30 pounds.

- Memory Backup - when you replace a battery in the receiver, you will not have to reset the correction level.
- Anti Linger so the dog cannot stay in the warning zone and run down the battery

- Progressive Correction - if your dog continues toward the boundary the correction will increase automatically

Safety Features:
- Protection against false signals. Only our transmitter can activate the receiver. Televisions, cordless phones, garage door openers, etc. can activate other brands’ receivers. We use filters and coded signals to prevent this. Don't trust your pet's safety to anything but a PetSafe Containment System.
- Receiver Fail-Safe. If your pet gets trapped in the correction zone, the receiver will shut down after 20 seconds to prevent over correction.
Please note: Leaving the collar on too tight and for long periods of time can cause, Pressure Necrosis. This is a condition where the skin deteriorates over time. To prevent this, check and clean your pet's neck regularly. If a rash or sore forms, remove the receiver for a few days. When replacing the collar, make sure both the contact probes and your dog's neck are clean.
