The Super Skamper-Ramp® is a new large version that will replace the existing Skamper-Ramp Big Dog. This water safety device, designed to protect animals from drowning, is a larger, much stronger and more elegant looking version of the Original Skamper-Ramp. The greater overall strength and rigidity of the Super Skamper-Ramp results from both the blow-molding fabrication process as well as the new design, where the extension locks/snaps into the main body and sidewall supports, making it superior for larger dogs as they exit the pool or any size pet as it climbs back onto a dock or aboard some boats.
The Skamper-Ramp is more of a water safety/drowning prevention product that
works as a water ramp. It should not be mistaken as a heavy-duty water ramp
at an unbelievably great price.

How it Works:
- Skamper-Ramp is an escape ramp meaning that it prevents animals and pets from drowning.
- Easy to assemble – Snaps together (no nuts and bolts) and has a notched edge on the side wings that prevent the ramp from going vertical more than 45 degrees when a very heavy dog gets on it.
- Lightweight and strong
- The ramp is white – the one color that all living things can see, day or night.
- Ramp allows a wide variety of animals to exit the water on their
own.
- Must be installed so that a few inches of the curved end are under the water and the ramp breaks the water’s surface. This enables the animal to see it at eye level.
- In order to provide the rigidity necessary for an animal to “skamper” out on the ramp, it must be very snug against a vertical wall.

What it is Made of:
- Blow molded using white polyethylene, and is chemical and solar resistant.
- Ramps come complete with rope, d-ring clips and washers for the ramp. Nylon rope, nuts, bolts, washers, and wing straps as well as stainless steel d-ring clips for screwing into the decking.
