The difference in the four Panel Styles:
- Single Pane (OptiView) - Least expensive, largest glass area, poor insulation, must be drilled & screwed in, very secure, hard to remove & install, only 1 1/2" width adjustability.
- Double Pane (OptiView) - Least expensive dual pane, largest glass area, good insulation, must be drilled & screwed in, very secure, hard to remove & install, only 1 1/2" width adjustability.
- Double Pane Spring loaded (SpringTech) - Dual pane, less glass area, good insulation, not very secure, easy to remove & install, 4" width adjustability.
- Double Pane "Omni" (best Hale sells) - Dual pane, less glass area, excellent insulation, patented Omni lock is very secure, quick & easy to remove & install, 4" width adjustability. The OMNI panel is secured by means of a patented nut and bolt assembly that exerts pressure, making a very secure fit. The OMNI panel is not screwed into the window frame, so there will be no holes in the window frame if the OMNI is removed.
